Tyrone Transportation is named after the township in southern Minnesota, where I grew up on a farm. There have been many amazing changes since then. Transportation, then, meant a pair of crude skis that took me to school in winter. Now, it means flatbeds and vans rushing along the interstate, carrying cargo for my customers. Living without electricity my first seven or eight years, I never imagined that some day I'd need to be in constant electronic communication with people all across the continent. Yet, so many important things have stayed the same. Work, trust, responsibility, friendship - these values from Tyrone Township are the elements from which Tyrone Transportation was built.
I hope that the next time you need to move something important from here to there, you'll give us a chance to show what we can do. Thanks!
Leo Luskey, President
Started Tyrone Transportation in 1983, before the wireless communication age. Prior to Tyrone Transportation, I was with United Parcel Service (UPS) as a driver/supervisor/manager for thirteen years. Bringing with me to Tyrone Transportation was the importance of discipline, service, and excellent communication instilled in me from working with UPS.
